Specific grammar skills are taught at the beginning of English lessons or as a specific stand-alone lesson where needed throughout the teaching of a unit of work to ensure children have a good understanding of all grammar objectives.

Grammar skills are then reinforced and consolidated daily through the English sessions with each writing having a grammar focus.
